Power BI Developer

European Dynamics, a multinational software and ICT provider with offices across Europe and beyond, is looking for a Power BI Developer who will work remotely from within the EU and join the company’s Development team. The role involves close collaboration with a major client’s on‑site IT group, contributing to the delivery of data‑driven solutions for a leading European institution. The day‑to‑day work includes reviewing functional and technical specifications, suggesting data‑storytelling and user‑experience concepts, and refining existing reports. You will craft mock‑ups or prototypes of dashboards, present them to business stakeholders, and adjust them based on feedback. Organising visualisations so that key performance indicators are instantly visible and navigation feels intuitive is essential, as is building a SharePoint portal that aggregates the data catalogue, dashboards and related data‑warehouse assets. Supporting automation projects that leverage data‑warehouse datasets and partnering with colleagues working on Power Platform, Azure and SharePoint to integrate Power BI outputs are also part of the remit. Candidates must hold a university degree in a field such as Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science or Statistics, complemented by substantial coursework in graphic design, communication or marketing analytics. At least five years of experience designing user‑friendly dashboards and UI/UX work is required, together with strong data‑storytelling skills and advanced DAX capabilities for dynamic measures. Mastery of Power BI visual best practices, formatting options, colour‑blind‑friendly palettes and interactive features is expected, as is a Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL‑300) certification and fluent English.
