Full Stack Engineer (Elixir Backend Focus)

We are seeking an AI‑first Full Stack Engineer to join qiibee, a company that is turning loyalty points into a major payment method. The team builds a points‑exchange platform that powers partner programs such as Miles & More and Etihad Guest, and relies heavily on artificial‑intelligence tools to accelerate development. The day‑to‑day work blends deep backend engineering with front‑end delivery. You will design, develop, and maintain Elixir services using Phoenix, Ecto and OTP, create versioned REST APIs, and manage background jobs with reliable delivery guarantees. On the client side you will own React‑TypeScript features for admin and partner dashboards, write clear pull‑request documentation, and use AI coding agents like Claude Code to speed up implementation while reviewing their output. Collaboration with product and infrastructure teams covers deployment, monitoring and security on AWS. The role requires a solid foundation in software engineering and a proven track record with the listed technologies. Candidates must have at least six years of professional development experience, including four years focused on backend work, and three years of production‑grade Elixir with Phoenix, Ecto and OTP. Strong PostgreSQL expertise, REST‑API design skills, and experience with background‑job processing (e.g., Oban) are essential. Prior work in loyalty, travel‑tech, payments or FinTech is expected, as is two‑plus years of React and TypeScript development. Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, RDS, S3), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions is required, and fluency in English is mandatory.
