Technical Proposal Engineer

WinGD, a leading designer of two‑stroke marine engines headquartered in Winterthur, is seeking a Technical Proposal Engineer to create customized service offers such as repairs, overhauls and retrofits that match client specifications. The role serves as the communication hub linking Sales, Technical Support and Field Service, turning field insights, warranty cases and service letters into commercial opportunities while systematically gathering service data and tracking WinGD service numbers. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and bring at least three years of hands‑on field service experience, ideally with WinGD engines. Practical knowledge of two‑stroke engines is essential, and familiarity with iCER, WiDE or SCR systems is considered an advantage. The position requires the ability to draft technical proposals, compile spare‑part, tool and manpower lists for overhaul tasks, and deliver solutions that satisfy customer requirements.
