IntenseDebate and Google Analytics

A blogger who relies on IntenseDebate for comments and Google Analytics for traffic monitoring has built a small add‑on that pushes a comment‑related event into Analytics whenever a visitor leaves a remark. The event appears under the Content → Event Tracking → Categories → IntenseDebate section, and the code can also generate a virtual page view (e.g., /service/IntenseDebate/CommentPosted) to serve as a goal trigger. The script is still outside the official IntenseDebate marketplace, so the creator is looking for people to install the download, enable it through their own custom script area, and report any issues or desired tweaks. Options exist to turn event tracking on or off, rename the event’s category, action and label, and adjust the virtual page path, giving testers flexibility to shape the integration to their analytics needs.
