SAP Application & Business Process Manager (LE/TM)

Bühler is expanding its IT department with a SAP Application & Business Process Manager (LE/TM) who will shape the outbound logistics and transportation landscape for its worldwide operations. The company supplies equipment that feeds billions of people and powers vehicles, striving for sustainable, healthy, and safe solutions across the food, feed, and mobility sectors. In this position you will be responsible for the full spectrum of outbound value‑chain processes, from delivery and shipment execution through transport management and the related trade and customs interfaces. Daily work involves overseeing and continuously improving SAP‑based logistics and transport processes, conducting end‑to‑end analysis, standardising and documenting procedures, and monitoring their performance. You will gather and prioritize business needs, convert them into solid functional concepts, guide development orders with internal and external partners, and ensure successful implementation. Additionally, you will lead testing, deliver training, support global roll‑outs and coordinate Process Managers, Key Users and Super Users across all sites. The role requires strong functional expertise in SAP LE or TM, with additional knowledge of SAP GTS, SD or PS considered a plus. Candidates need several years of experience in IT, logistics, supply‑chain management or freight forwarding, and a degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Logistics or a comparable field, complemented by relevant further training. A thorough grasp of end‑to‑end logistics, including customer projects, service and procurement, and a willingness to learn trade affairs, customs and export control are essential. Proven project‑leadership abilities, sharp analytical and conceptual skills, confident stakeholder communication, business‑level English and intercultural competence in a global setting are also required. Preferred attributes include familiarity with SAP GTS, SD or PS beyond the core requirement.
