Laborant F&E 80-100% (m/w/d)

**Role and Company:** We're seeking a Research & Development Laboratory Technician (80-100% FTE) for Lonza in Visp. Lonza is a global leader in life sciences, focusing on biopharmaceuticals. **Main Responsibilities:** - Conduct and document experimental work for downstream process development projects. - Generate high-quality data and support the qualification, maintenance, and calibration of lab equipment. - Collaborate with cross-functional, international teams, requiring precise work, strong organization, and effective English communication (basic German is beneficial). **Must-Have Requirements:** - Completed laboratory apprenticeship or comparable degree in chemistry/biology. - Hands-on experience with analytical techniques like HPLC/UPLC or chromatography. - Solid understanding of GMP-related laboratory practices. **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Basic knowledge of German. - Experience in a GMP environment. **Location and Team:** - Based in Visp, offering a dynamic scientific environment and high quality of life in the Swiss Alps. **What the role asks for:** - Completed laboratory apprenticeship or comparable degree in chemistry/biology. - Experience with analytical techniques (HPLC/UPLC, chromatography). - Understanding of GMP-related laboratory practices. - Precise work and strong organization. - Effective English communication (basic German is a plus). - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional, international teams.
