Technical Specialist

Epiq is a global legal process outsourcing firm that supports law firms and corporations with litigation, discovery, court reporting and managed services. As a Technical Specialist based in Zurich, you will join a values‑driven community that emphasizes integrity, service and collaboration while working on eDiscovery projects across the EU. Your daily work will involve consulting with clients to clarify project specifications and workflow, maintaining chain of custody, exporting and packaging deliverables for review platforms, and providing troubleshooting assistance. You will collect data using tools such as Discovery Accelerator and M365 Purview, document each step, generate status reports for project managers, and keep tracking records of all processed data. The role may require occasional evenings, weekends or holidays to meet client commitments, and you will cooperate with Epiq teams in the UK, EU, US and Asia‑Pacific. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in information technology or a comparable background, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to manage several technical and client‑facing tasks simultaneously. Fluency in spoken and written German is advantageous but not mandatory, as is prior experience in an IT role. Candidates must be authorized to work in Switzerland, reside there, and be able to pass identity and security checks. Additional assets include familiarity with hosted litigation‑support platforms such as Relativity, Ringtail or Nuix, and an understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model. The contract starts as a six‑month engagement with the possibility of extension, offering exposure to a fast‑paced, multinational environment and opportunities for skill development in eDiscovery and computer forensics.
