IT Working Student (Junior Project Lead / PMO Support) 60% - 100% (f/m/d)

Julius Baer, the leading Swiss wealth‑management group, is looking for an IT Working Student who will act as a Junior Project Lead and support the PMO. The position sits within the bank's technology division and offers a flexible workload between 60 % and 100 %, allowing you to combine studies with practical experience in a global financial environment. In the role you will help track, analyse and report on project metrics, keep the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards up‑to‑date, and monitor progress to ensure clear visibility of milestones, deliverables and dependencies. You will assist with System Integration Testing by logging defects, following up on issues and providing status updates. Maintaining project plans, dashboards and visual progress reports, documenting processes and decisions in Confluence, and reviewing test cases for completeness are also part of the daily routine. Additionally, you will prepare meeting materials, capture minutes and actions, and support overall coordination of testing activities. The position requires that you are currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme in a technical discipline and have no more than two semesters remaining until graduation. You must be fluent in English, both spoken and written, and demonstrate strong analytical and organisational abilities together with a keen eye for detail and a structured work style. A genuine interest in IT project management, the software development lifecycle and banking technology is essential. Practical knowledge of Jira, Microsoft Excel and Confluence is also expected. Beneficial, but not mandatory, are familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, experience in creating process flows, reports or dashboards, and a broader interest in project‑management, PMO or software‑delivery practices.
