Intern - Application Management

Crypto Finance Group, a member of Deutsche Börse Group, delivers professional digital‑asset services to institutional clients, including trading, custody and wallet solutions across its Swiss‑regulated Crypto Finance AG and German‑regulated Crypto Finance (Deutschland) GmbH entities. The internship sits within the platform management team, where you will assist the Application Manager in overseeing the firm’s trading and core‑banking platforms. Your daily tasks will involve monitoring the applications that support institutional trading, logging and tracking any issues that arise, and helping the second‑line team with incident triage, documentation and follow‑up. You will also contribute to release preparation, coordinate change‑control steps with cloud, engineering and delivery groups, and support client onboarding by conducting conformance testing and maintaining related documentation. Additional duties include updating platform configurations under supervision, keeping tickets and backlog tidy in Jira, assisting with test planning and execution, and enriching the team’s knowledge base in Confluence. The position requires you to be currently enrolled in or recently finished a bachelor’s or master’s program in computer science, engineering, information systems, finance or a comparable discipline. You should demonstrate a genuine interest in trading technology, fintech or digital assets, possess a basic grasp of software communication methods such as APIs (knowledge of FIX or REST is a plus), and be analytical, detail‑oriented and well‑organized. Strong written and spoken English is essential. Beneficial experience includes coursework or projects related to cryptocurrencies, familiarity with Jira and Confluence, and exposure to capital‑markets or financial‑services environments.
