Givaudan is seeking a Dairy Product Development Intern to contribute to the creation of future food experiences. The intern will work within the Regional Innovation, Dairy team in the Flavours Division for a 12-month period, based in Kemptthal, Switzerland. The intern's main responsibilities include driving prototype development and identifying new opportunities in the dairy and alternative dairy segments. They will translate market and sensory insights into unique product experiences, providing technical solutions that balance creativity, feasibility, and commercial success. The role also involves selecting optimal ingredients for projects and suggesting improvements for common applications. Additionally, the intern will execute daily tasks related to ingredient selection, product evaluation, and application development, preparing samples and participating in customer presentations and technical discussions. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science or a related discipline. Strong interest in consumer-facing food products and food technology, combined with a passion for food and discovering new products, is essential. Hands-on experience, curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively are also required. Knowledge of food formulation and application development, ideally within the dairy sector, is crucial. Good command of spoken and written English and strong organizational and planning skills are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a team-oriented mindset are also important. Nice-to-have skills include a collaborative way of working. The location in Kemptthal, Switzerland, offers a supportive, diverse, and responsible team environment.
