As a member of Swiss Re's Life & Health finance division, you will join an 18‑month Graduate Programme that launches on 1 September 2027. Swiss Re is a global leader in reinsurance and risk‑transfer solutions, helping societies cope with major hazards. The position is based in Zürich and offers rotations across local teams, combined with specialised training to develop a solid foundation for a long‑term career within the group. In this role you will steer the quarterly reporting cycle, working closely with Group Finance and regional finance partners across several countries. You will examine performance figures for the L&H portfolio, explain any gaps against targets, and gather data from a wide range of contributors to ensure reports are accurate and delivered on time. Additional duties include supporting external disclosures, preparing internal management reports, spotting ways to streamline reporting processes, and assisting senior leaders with ad‑hoc analyses or special projects. The programme looks for graduates who have completed a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in finance, accounting, economics, business or a comparable discipline, and who have accumulated up to three years of relevant work experience. Strong competence in Excel and PowerPoint, a solid grasp of IFRS principles, and the ability to analyse complex financial information under tight deadlines are essential. Clear written and spoken English, as well as the legal right to work in Switzerland and readiness to start on the programme's start date, are also required. A curiosity for the reinsurance sector, an interest in applying AI‑driven tools to reporting, and familiarity with visualisation platforms such as Power BI or Tableau are considered advantageous. The team in Zürich is multicultural and collaborative, valuing continuous learning, diverse viewpoints and high‑quality output. Participants will receive mentorship from seasoned specialists, engage in networking events, and gain exposure to senior decision‑makers, positioning them for a variety of future opportunities across Swiss Re's global operations. What the role asks for: - Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business degree (Bachelor/Master) - Up to three years relevant professional experience - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills - Working knowledge of IFRS accounting standards - Strong analytical ability for financial data - Excellent written and spoken English - Eligible to work in Switzerland, start 1 Sept 2027 - Familiarity with reinsurance, AI tools, or data‑visualisation (nice‑to‑have)
