Voice Actor: CX Agent Voice Cloning (Standard French)

Mercor is collaborating with a top AI research laboratory to create next‑generation text‑to‑speech technology that sounds natural and expressive. The company is looking for native‑level French speakers who can provide a clear, neutral French voice to train and evaluate advanced speech models for an internal customer‑experience AI agent. The work consists of a single recording session lasting about four hours. During this time the contributor will capture high‑quality audio from a variety of scripts—including conversational, narrative and instructional content—while maintaining a natural, expressive tone. Consistency of accent, pronunciation and overall delivery is essential, as is adherence to detailed technical guidelines for microphone setup, environment and file format. Multiple takes may be required to showcase different emotions, emphasis and styles. Applicants must speak French at a native or native‑level with a standard, accent‑free delivery, and must have access to a professional or near‑professional recording environment (quality microphone, quiet space, pop filter, etc.). Strong control of intonation, diction and emotional range is required, as is the ability to follow scripts precisely. The role is a one‑off engagement, and candidates must be comfortable with their voice being cloned for the client’s CX AI agent, with no other commercial use. Prior experience in voice‑acting, narration, broadcasting, TTS, audiobooks or IVR work is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition or Reaper, and the ability to produce several vocal styles (e.g., conversational, corporate, energetic, calm) are also valued. The position is remote, welcoming qualified speakers from any location.
