The Field Service Technician for Laboratory Instruments will be responsible for on-site service tasks. This includes preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and customer training for laboratory and process instrumentation. The role involves planning and executing maintenance and repair work, as well as installations and GMP qualifications. Additionally, the technician will prepare maintenance reports, qualification documentation, quotations, and cost estimates. They will also provide technical sales support and customer consultancy, and perform in-house repairs. To qualify for this position, candidates must have a qualification as an Automation Technician, Electromechanical Technician, or Electrical Engineering Technician, with further education as a Higher Technical College (HF) Technician being ideal. Experience in servicing laboratory instruments is preferred. A valid Category B driving licence is required. Language skills in French and good German are mandatory, with English being an advantage. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to work independently and in a goal-oriented manner, as well as autonomous planning and organization of service assignments. A customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of business responsibility is essential. Excellent communication skills and a confident professional presence are also important. The role requires a high level of commitment and the ability to work effectively in a team. Willingness to travel within Switzerland is necessary. The position is based in Western Switzerland and offers an interesting and secure role within an innovative and internationally renowned company.
