Software Engineer – Flowable / .NET

The position is a Software Engineer focused on Flowable and .NET within a major e‑Justice initiative for the public sector. The role sits in a large‑scale programme that modernises judicial processes through digital workflow automation. Day‑to‑day you will act as the Flowable expert, creating and refining workflow solutions based on BPMN and low‑code/no‑code techniques inside an industrial CI/CD pipeline. You will also build backend services and integrations using .NET, ASP.NET Core and C#, and design solutions that leverage Azure services and contemporary micro‑service patterns. Close collaboration with architects, fellow developers and business stakeholders is required throughout the development lifecycle. The essential qualifications include deep, hands‑on experience with Flowable or a comparable low‑code platform, strong command of BPMN and business‑process modelling, and a proven record of deploying low‑code solutions in CI/CD environments. You must be proficient in .NET development, familiar with OpenID Connect, OAuth2 and Azure Entra ID, and have worked with Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions and Azure DevOps. Fluency in French and solid analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities are also required. Additional assets are knowledge of micro‑services, Domain‑Driven Design and Hexagonal Architecture, as well as familiarity with Kubernetes, Azure Pipelines, IIS, MassTransit or NServiceBus. The job is based onsite in Fribourg, Switzerland, full‑time from October 2026 to December 2027 with a possible extension.
