Distinguished PQC Cryptography & Architecture Leader

The main responsibilities of the Distinguished PQC Cryptography & Architecture Leader involve defining the system and microarchitecture of a multi-algorithm PQC accelerator. This includes hardware/firmware partitioning, throughput and lane sizing based on real customer traffic models, and developing a stable core-interface specification. The role also involves owning the algorithm and standards strategy, driving make/buy and IP-licensing decisions, and shaping the security and certification architecture. Additionally, the leader will set the technical roadmap, arbitrate complex design decisions, mentor senior engineers, and represent the program externally with customers, standards bodies, and executive stakeholders. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Cryptography, or a related field, along with fifteen or more years of experience in architecting complex digital security hardware. This experience should include deep, hands-on exposure to cryptographic implementation with a focus on post-quantum cryptography. The candidate should be a recognized authority in the field, evidenced by shipped market-defining security products. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and the capability to mentor and lead a team of senior engineers.
