Group Senior Internal Auditor (m/f/d)

The Group Senior Internal Auditor role is part of Liebherr‑International AG, a globally operating, family‑owned industrial group. The position sits within the Internal Audit division and reports on audit activities that span the company's diverse businesses and international locations. In this role you will independently plan and execute audit engagements that cover finance, operations, compliance and governance. You will assess processes, risks and internal controls, then formulate practical recommendations to improve efficiency and compliance. The auditor also advises senior management on governance and risk matters, supports transformation projects and special initiatives, and uses data‑analytics techniques to increase audit coverage. Findings are communicated through concise reports and presentations, and you will follow up on corrective actions. The employer requires a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, and at least five years of professional experience in internal audit, external audit, consulting or a comparable field. Fluency in both English and German is mandatory, and the role involves about 30 % international travel. A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification is preferred but not compulsory.
