Legal Entity Controller Switzerland

The Legal Entity Controller for Switzerland will join the Essential Products Business (EssCo) inside Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH). ANH, a global player in animal nutrition, health, vitamins, carotenoids and aroma ingredients, is currently being separated from dsm‑firmenich. The role is based in Kaiseraugst and reports to the Finance function, taking responsibility for the Swiss Principal Legal Entity. On a daily basis the controller will steer finance planning, actuals, month‑end closing, reporting and compliance for the Swiss entity. He or she will manage the balance‑sheet, perform reconciliations and guarantee the completeness of both group and statutory statements. The position also oversees the delivery of services from the Financial Shared Services centre and external providers, while advising on complex accounting entries, provisions, accruals and period‑end activities. In addition, the role leads the global Commercial Legal Entity Controlling team, promoting standardisation, governance, continuous improvement and capability building across all locations. Collaboration with Finance Business Partners, Tax, Treasury, Shared Services, auditors and regulators is essential to maintain robust financial governance. The employer expects at least eight years of experience in legal entity controlling, accounting, audit or finance leadership within a multinational environment. Proven ability to manage international finance teams and influence senior leaders is required. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, internal controls, legal‑entity governance and multi‑jurisdiction compliance, as well as hands‑on experience with principal business models, inter‑company structures and finance‑transformation projects such as carve‑outs and integrations. A university degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline is mandatory, and strong SAP and other financial‑system skills are needed. Fluency in both English and German is also required.
