Captive Centre of Excellence Intern (Hybrid; m/f/x/d; 80-100%)

The Captive Centre of Excellence Intern will join Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, a company specializing in reinsurance, insurance, and risk transfer solutions. The intern will be part of a small, dynamic team focused on Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) strategies, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative risk management solutions. The intern's daily tasks will involve supporting transactions, conducting market research, and creating new solutions for clients. They will also develop Swiss Re's captive value proposition, engage with various stakeholders, and maintain a captive pipeline dashboard. The role requires a proactive approach to gathering input and aligning messaging across different teams and functions. To qualify, candidates must be currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or Law. Strong analytical and research skills are essential, along with a genuine interest in structured insurance solutions. Excellent communication skills in English are required, as the role involves crafting clear and professional content for diverse audiences. Nice-to-have skills include prior experience in the (re)insurance or financial services industry, familiarity with captive insurance structures, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Additional languages, such as German or French, are also beneficial. The team is small, agile, and collaborative, working closely with various stakeholders globally.
