The EMEA CapEx & Inventory Manager role at Johnson & Johnson focuses on supporting the Orthopaedics franchise within the EMEA Supply Chain Organization. The main day-to-day responsibilities of the EMEA CapEx & Inventory Manager include partnering with business stakeholders to manage CapEx, Inventory, and E&O in line with the DePuy Synthes EMEA business strategy. This involves leading the planning process for these areas, collaborating with global, sourcing, regional, and local teams, and translating regional targets into executable plans. The role also requires driving local market accountability, reviewing results with regional and global partners, and analyzing working capital performance. Additionally, the manager will contribute to cost and cash flow optimization initiatives and enhance existing processes to drive insightful discussions with business leaders. To excel in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 8 to 10 years of proven experience in financial business partnering is required, with a focus on value creation, process improvement, and financial decision-making. Knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and US GAAP financial procedures is essential. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Alteryx is also required, along with a good understanding of CapEx and Inventory processes and compliance. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and frameworks, including responsible and ethical AI practices. Nice-to-have skills include a Master's degree or equivalent experience, and proficiency in English is required. The role may involve up to 10% domestic and international travel. The position is based in either Switzerland or Ireland, and the team is part of the Orthopaedics Worldwide Supply Chain Finance Organization. The role offers the opportunity to be at the center of the enterprise and directly impact the franchise's success, with a focus on improving gross profit and driving efficiencies in the use of working capital.
