The Computer Vision Engineer will join the Machine Learning and Computer Vision team and focus on core components for robotics and aerospace projects. Daily work includes researching cutting‑edge computer‑vision methods, building and curating training and validation datasets, and creating statistical analyses and visualisation tools to assure data quality. The role also covers designing and refining training pipelines, optimizing CV algorithms, deploying models into production‑ready environments, and performing rigorous code reviews. In addition, the engineer will test algorithms in real‑world settings, develop monitoring utilities, track model performance, and collaborate closely with software and simulation teams to align development with system requirements while communicating results to stakeholders. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, preferably from a top‑tier engineering school, and demonstrate strong mathematical foundations. Proficiency in Python programming and hands‑on experience delivering machine‑learning or computer‑vision projects are essential. A genuine passion for ML and CV, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a willingness to devote 100 % of their effort to Harmattan AI's mission and rapid growth are required. While a PhD is not mandatory, it is considered advantageous, as are additional C++ skills and prior experience at leading AI companies.
