Kanadevia Inova Tender Engineer Electrical & Control (Waste-to Energy)

Kanadevia Inova is seeking a Tender Engineer specializing in Electrical & Control systems for their Waste-to-Energy projects. The company focuses on engineering and supply chain management for international projects. The Tender Engineer will develop conceptual designs, system sizing, and cost estimates for plant electrical and control systems during the proposal phase. This includes creating single-line diagrams, electrical operating concepts, and power system functional descriptions. The role involves defining plant automation concepts and process control systems (DCS), and optimizing system integration to enhance cost competitiveness. The engineer will coordinate interfaces across multiple disciplines, review contract specifications, and identify project risks and opportunities. They will also prepare cost/budget estimates, requests for quotation, and analyze supplier offers. Additionally, the engineer will compile tender documentation and ensure a smooth handover of successful tenders to the project execution team. Candidates must have at least five years of experience in an international EPC environment, preferably in energy, environmental technology, oil & gas, or similar industries. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required. A solid background in project execution and/or tendering, with a good understanding of technical cost drivers, is essential. Experience with Waste-to-Energy (WtE) technologies is advantageous. Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills are necessary. The ideal candidate should be autonomous, proactive, and have a curious, flexible, and team-oriented mindset. Fluency in English is required, with additional languages being welcomed.
