Field Application Engineer (FAE) - Europe

Toradex is a worldwide engineering and technology company that focuses on embedded computing and the Internet of Things. The Field Application Engineer (FAE) for Europe will serve as the bridge between Toradex and its customers, helping them reach their business objectives by understanding their technical challenges and steering them toward suitable solutions. On a daily basis the FAE will create and sustain a strong connection with the embedded market, act as the main technical contact for customers during both pre‑sales and post‑sales phases, and deliver consultative advice that showcases Toradex's unique value proposition. The role also involves introducing the Toradex ecosystem to new clients, unblocking key projects so products can reach market faster, and tracking both technical and business requirements throughout the engagement. The position calls for hands‑on expertise in embedded systems, industrial computing, IoT, software, hardware or related fields, as well as the ability to converse fluently with engineers and business stakeholders. Candidates must be quick learners who can turn complex technical ideas into clear business benefits, possess strong analytical, problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities, and maintain a highly customer‑centric attitude. Collaboration with sales, engineering, product management and R&D teams is essential, as is the capacity to manage expectations, resolve misalignments, and act as a trusted technical advisor. Additional duties include working closely with cross‑functional groups to raise bugs, request features, and deliver timely fixes; preparing and presenting technical demos and training sessions on Arm‑based technologies; and representing Toradex at trade shows, industry gatherings and customer meetings. The role offers the chance to influence the full customer journey, from initial technical discussions through successful product deployment, within a dynamic European environment.
