The Logistics Systems & SAP EWM Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d) role at Lonza is focused on enhancing logistics operations and supply chain management. The main responsibilities of the Logistics Systems & SAP EWM Specialist include overseeing and improving SAP MM and SAP EWM processes, from inbound operations to outbound logistics. This involves analyzing business needs, preparing specifications, and collaborating with IT and implementation partners to configure and enhance systems. The role also entails managing the integration of various systems, such as SAP ERP/S/4HANA, LIMS, 3PL systems, and warehouse automation tools. Additionally, the specialist will plan and execute testing activities, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and manage incidents and change requests. They will also create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials, and provide training to end users. To qualify for this position, candidates must have several years of experience with SAP EWM, ideally with additional expertise in SAP MM, within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated environment. A strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes is essential. Candidates should also have experience with system implementations, enhancements, integrations, and testing activities. Knowledge of cGMP, CSV, data integrity, and quality requirements is highly desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
