The Software Engineer - Delta Platform role is crucial as it involves building and maintaining the core software that underpins all of BLP's operations. The main day-to-day responsibilities of a Software Engineer - Delta Platform at BLP include working on one of four key areas: infrastructure, backend, machine learning (ML), or the product extension platform. Infrastructure tasks involve building and operating cloud infrastructure, focusing on security, observability, and CI/CD. Backend development entails tackling performance, concurrency, and distributed systems challenges. In the ML domain, the role involves applying the latest AI technologies to real-world business problems. The product extension platform, or "Unbound," enables BLP to automate a wide range of customer business processes.
