This involves building and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships with key principals and decision-makers, as well as preparing and refining fundraising materials to institutional-grade standards. The role also includes leveraging an existing network to generate a high-conviction investor pipeline and positioning Novastone Partners as a preferred investment partner. Additionally, the VP Capital Formation Expert will identify new investor segments, contribute to the structuring of investment vehicles, and represent the firm at investor meetings and conferences. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in fundraising, private equity, asset management, or investment banking. Fluency in fund economics and structuring, including GP/LP terms, carried interest waterfalls, and management fee mechanics, is essential. Candidates should also have a proven track record of capital raised across multiple fund vintages or co-investment cycles. Familiarity with cross-border marketing considerations relevant to a Swiss-based platform raising across Europe is an advantage. Nice-to-have skills include strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with the capability to distill complex deal theses and fund economics into a compelling narrative. The role is based in Baar, Switzerland, and requires fluency in English at a C2 proficiency level in reading, writing, and speaking.
