Stadler, a global provider of rail and mobility solutions, is seeking a RAMS & Security Manager Projects (Specific Application). In this role you will help shape tomorrow's transportation by overseeing reliability, availability, maintainability, safety (RAMS) and security activities for CBTC and other signalling systems. Your daily work will involve managing RAMS processes, coordinating security and cybersecurity tasks, and producing safety and security documentation such as plans, risk assessments, hazard analyses and safety cases. You will also carry out verification, validation and quality‑assurance activities, support the preparation and review of approval dossiers, and assist regulatory authorities in approving CBTC, ATC, ATO and CWS systems. Additional RAMS, security, V&V and quality‑management duties within the Signalling Division are part of the remit. The position requires an engineering degree (BSc or MSc) or an equivalent background, proven experience applying functional safety standards (e.g., EN 50126, EN 50129, EN 50716, MIL‑882, IEEE, ARP 26262), and hands‑on involvement in the certification of railway signalling applications. Candidates must be fluent in at least two of English, German or French and demonstrate an open, communicative, flexible personality with an independent, goal‑oriented work style. A strong drive to master new technologies, development processes and tools is essential. Experience with security and cybersecurity standards (TS 50701, NIST) is a plus.
