Head of Securities Operations - Private Banking

Our client is a leading international private bank based in Geneva, looking for a Head of Securities Operations to guide a critical operational function and help evolve its operating model. In this position you will direct a group of operations specialists, creating an environment of teamwork, accountability and ongoing improvement. You will oversee the smooth execution of daily tasks while upholding high standards of quality, control and client service. The role involves analysing current workflows, spotting opportunities for efficiency, and rolling out enhancements. You will also take part in cross‑departmental initiatives, change programmes and transformation projects that affect the Operations area. Performance will be tracked through key indicators and regular reporting, with a focus on meeting targets and managing risks. Strengthening the control framework, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory rules and industry best practices, and collaborating closely with Front Office, Compliance, Risk, IT and other Operations teams are essential.
