Head of Business Technology & Automation

The company builds fully autonomous robots that inspect industrial plants. As Head of Business Technology & Automation you will be tasked with driving internal productivity across the organisation. You will locate where hours, cash and margins are leaking, decide whether the fix calls for automation, a system‑of‑record change, or removal of a redundant process, and then implement the solution. Solutions are created directly with tools such as n8n, Claude or any other technology that fits the problem, while partnering with designated process owners in Commercial, Product, Operations, Finance and R&D. Because the role reshapes how 220 people work, the primary challenge is change management rather than pure technology. This high‑visibility, individual‑contributor position reports straight to the executive team and the board and works alongside strong peers.
