Intern - Cybersecurity (m/f/x)

Hilti, a worldwide leader in construction‑technology solutions, offers a six‑month (or longer) internship that introduces you to the field of cybersecurity. The position is designed for students eager to explore governance, architecture or defensive aspects of security, with the overarching aim of turning protection measures into a driver of business value. During the placement you will observe and assist within Hilti’s security programme, touching on topics such as awareness campaigns, risk assessment, penetration testing, advisory work and engineering support. A seasoned colleague will guide you, while you take part in a variety of projects that match your personal interests. Regular feedback, coaching and training are built into the experience to help you develop ideas and sharpen practical skills. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in cybersecurity, computer science, business information systems, engineering, natural sciences, economics or a closely related discipline. You should possess a strong affinity for IT, have already completed some hands‑on security work, and be able to communicate clearly in English. Good interpersonal abilities, a strategic mindset, solid problem‑solving talent and a genuine desire to learn are also required. The role can be based at Hilti’s headquarters in Schaan, Nendeln (Liechtenstein) or Buchs SG (Switzerland), where a multicultural workforce of more than 3,000 people from over 70 nationalities creates an energetic alpine environment.
