Python Developer (Mid/Senior)

A Python Developer at a mid‑senior level will become part of an engineering group that creates and evolves a cybersecurity platform together with its supporting services. The company focuses on delivering security tooling for critical infrastructure and regulated sectors, and the role can be performed from Athens on a hybrid schedule or remotely from Switzerland. Day‑to‑day work involves shaping, coding, testing and maintaining backend components and APIs using Python. You will construct and fine‑tune pipelines that ingest, normalise and correlate security data such as vulnerability feeds and telemetry, and you will link external security products through REST interfaces, message queues and custom connectors. Contributions extend to architectural design from prototype to production, writing clean, well‑documented and thoroughly tested code, reviewing peers’ contributions, handling PostgreSQL schema and query optimisation, containerising services with Docker and supporting CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration occurs with security analysts, frontend engineers, DevOps and researchers in an agile setting, and senior members also mentor junior staff and may assist EU‑funded research initiatives. The position requires at least three years of professional Python development for mid‑level candidates or five years for senior applicants, with solid experience building RESTful APIs—preferably with Django. A strong grasp of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL,
