Principal C&SP Methodology Lead

The Principal C&SP Methodology Lead will join the Data Analytics & Computational Sciences function, supporting Clinical and Statistical Programming across therapeutic areas and driving technical strategy, automation and innovation within the department. In this role you will lead technical projects that explore and develop new tools and methods for data management, risk‑based monitoring, statistical analysis, visualisation and regulatory submissions. You will work closely with the user community and internal or external stakeholders to spot opportunities for automation and continuous improvement, design global technical solutions, and produce the accompanying documentation and training material. The position also involves supervising internal and external team members, contributing expertise to cross‑functional initiatives, and staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies. The role requires a deep background as a technical programmer or developer with extensive knowledge of clinical and/or statistical programming processes, tools and systems. Strong project and team leadership abilities are essential, as is the capacity to mentor staff, manage performance and support talent development. You will be expected to create and maintain technical assets such as SAS macros and R functions or packages, and to collaborate with data‑management, biostatistics, IT and other partner functions to achieve project goals.
