French - Generalist Voice Actor

Alignerr is seeking a French‑language voice talent to help shape the way artificial intelligence converses with French‑speaking audiences worldwide. The position involves creating top‑quality audio recordings and assessing machine‑generated speech, contributing directly to the development of next‑generation voice systems. The day‑to‑day work consists of delivering clear, studio‑grade French recordings from supplied scripts, listening to AI‑produced utterances and judging them for natural flow, correctness, emotional tone and expressiveness. You will provide organized feedback aimed at refining synthetic voice output and will adjust scripts when necessary to keep them sounding authentic. All tasks are performed independently, with the freedom to choose your own working hours. Candidates must speak French fluently, either as a native speaker or at an equivalent level, and have a background in voice‑over work such as acting, narration, audiobook reading, dubbing or similar audio‑focused roles. Access to professional recording gear and a quiet environment is required, as is the ability to consistently produce engaging, articulate performances. A keen ear for pronunciation, rhythm and overall clarity, together with a meticulous approach to evaluating sound quality, are essential. Additional assets include prior experience guiding or critiquing vocal performances, familiarity with AI‑related audio tools, and awareness of different French regional accents. A background in linguistics, broadcasting, theatre or media production is also valued. The role is fully remote, contract‑based and offers flexible scheduling, with the possibility of taking on greater responsibilities or mentoring new talent as you gain insight into cutting‑edge language models.
