Product Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Product Engineer at SCHOTT, you will be an innovator and product expert, utilizing your knowledge and experience in injection molding technology to develop new products and technologies. Your expertise will be focused on polymer, glass, or rubber products and related technologies, including primary and secondary packaging. You will identify risks in critical functionalities of new packaging and understand regulatory requirements, technical customer service, and summary reports. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include executing complex projects from idea to market launch, planning technical work packages, and delivering them according to quality, delivery, and cost targets. You will also support technical feasibility studies and change projects, working closely with senior colleagues and your project manager. Additionally, you will be required to travel internationally up to 20% of the time. To be successful in this role, you will need a university degree in Engineering or Life Science, as well as working experience in product development of medical devices or pharmaceutical packaging. You should also have knowledge and experience with glass, rubber, or polymer products and related technologies, design control process, and GMP. Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken, is required, along with good interpersonal and communication skills.
