Trainee Event Coordinator

The main day-to-day responsibilities of a Trainee Event Coordinator at SpotMe involve supporting the delivery of a wide range of event projects, both onsite and remotely. This includes building and configuring live engagement apps using the SpotMe Backstage Content Management System, ensuring clear and timely communication with customers and stakeholders, and coordinating with project leads, vendors, and internal teams to guarantee seamless event execution. During live events, the role may include briefing speakers, driving audience engagement, and overseeing live interactivities. Post-event, the coordinator will support communications, analyze event data, and prepare reports. To qualify for this role, candidates must have no prior professional event experience, as the company will provide comprehensive training. Essential skills include the ability to quickly learn new systems, maintain composure under pressure, and flag potential issues early. The role requires a flexible schedule, as event planning often extends beyond standard 9-to-5 hours. Nice-to-have skills include a strong interest in technology, engagement, and analytics.
