Technical Writer 80 - 100 % (f/m/d)

In this role you will author and maintain a variety of end‑user materials such as operator manuals, quick‑reference cards, user guides and application notes. You will gather information from specifications, project files and cross‑functional team members, edit content, create basic graphics, and ensure that all documents comply with regulatory standards. Project management duties include coordinating multiple documentation streams, tracking progress and delivering on tight timelines while collaborating closely with engineering, regulatory and graphic‑illustration colleagues. The position requires proven experience in creating documentation for end users, the ability to grasp complex procedures quickly, and strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. You must manage time effectively, handle shifting project plans and work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Solid project‑management capabilities, the capacity to multitask and solve problems, and a professional, feedback‑oriented attitude are essential. Technical proficiency with FrameMaker, InDesign, Acrobat and an XML‑based content‑management system (Quanos ST4) is mandatory, as is native‑level US English writing ability. Candidates should either speak German or be willing to learn the language. A background in the sciences or high‑tech sectors, as well as good graphic‑visualisation skills, are advantageous.
