Technical Support Trainee (m/f/d)

The role of a Technical Support Trainee at JTI Dagmersellen involves a 12-month program with the potential for a permanent position. The main day-to-day responsibilities include supporting various maintenance activities, such as preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, under the guidance of experienced team members. The trainee will collect and document technical information related to breakdowns, repairs, and inspections. They will also maintain and update maintenance records, work orders, and technical data in systems like SAP. Additionally, the trainee will assist in preparing and reviewing technical documentation, support root cause analyses, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with different teams, including Production, Engineering, and Spare Parts, is also a key part of the role. To qualify for this role, candidates must have recently completed or be currently completing a degree or technical education in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related area. A strong interest in maintenance processes and technical problem-solving is essential. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or automation systems is an advantage, as is experience with SAP or other maintenance management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and technical documentation is also required. Nice-to-have skills include experience with SAP or other maintenance management systems.
