Communication Manager

The Business Area Graphite & Carbon seeks a Communication Manager who will act as the central hub for all internal and external communication activities, supporting the management team and aligning with the Group’s global communication framework. The daily work involves shaping and executing the communication strategy for Imerys Graphite & Carbon, crafting key messages, arranging interviews, and managing change‑management tools. The manager will organise and distribute information across all facilities, oversee press and crisis communications according to the Group’s procedures, and lead customer‑focused campaigns together with marketing – from trade‑show planning to website updates and surveys. In addition, the role provides counsel to senior leaders, prepares quarterly leadership calls, newsletters and other management‑level communication packs, and collaborates closely with the wider Imerys Communication community to keep messaging consistent. The position requires a creative, self‑driven professional with expertise across corporate reputation, product and operational marketing, internal communications and governance. Candidates must possess a deep knowledge of industry and business practices, be able to think and act on a global scale, and feel comfortable engaging senior executives in strategic discussions. Strong abilities in resource management, project coordination and people development are essential, as is a mindset that embraces curiosity and innovative thinking.
