A mid‑sized banking institution in Genève is looking for a Junior Compliance / Sanctions Specialist on a short‑term basis. The assignment offers the chance to build expertise in sanctions oversight within a financial services environment. The role involves supporting the review and monitoring of sanctions rules, assisting with due‑diligence checks on transactions and counterparties, and handling administrative tasks for compliance records and reports. You will cooperate with internal teams to answer compliance queries, flag possible risk items, and help keep the compliance database up to date. The assignment is temporary, based in Genève, and provides exposure to a dedicated compliance unit, offering a platform to develop practical skills in sanctions management.
