Forward Deployed Engineer

LatticeFlow AI builds a technical AI‑governance platform that helps large enterprises assess, secure and manage AI risk before it becomes a liability. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will act as the bridge between this platform and the complex AI environments of customers, guiding the journey from pre‑sales technical work through to deployment and ongoing success. Your daily work will involve leading technical pre‑sales activities such as demos, scoping proof‑of‑concepts and proof‑of‑value exercises while collaborating with the sales team. After a deal closes you will own the full implementation, installing the LatticeFlow AI suite—both SaaS and on‑premise—tailoring components like Atlas, Evaluate, Govern and Discover to each client’s stack and risk profile. You will create custom integrations, scripts and workflows, translate EU AI Act, NIST or ISO 42001 compliance needs into actionable technical solutions, and serve as the customer’s voice inside the product organization, feeding back insights to engineering and research. The role requires a solid technical background in machine learning, software engineering or a related discipline, with the ability to read code, work with APIs and navigate sophisticated AI systems. You must have experience delivering proof‑of‑value projects and converting prospects into customers, as well as a track record of deploying or integrating enterprise software in both cloud and on‑premise settings. Strong sales instincts, the confidence to earn technical trust in meetings, and excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to engineers and C‑suite audiences are essential. Familiarity with AI governance, risk or compliance frameworks is a valuable plus, and a proactive, “builder” attitude is expected. The position is office‑based in one of LatticeFlow’s Zurich, Sofia or Dublin locations, offering a multicultural team of over a dozen nationalities, 25‑30 days of paid vacation, learning‑and‑development funding, private accident insurance and travel allowances for inter‑office visits. The fast‑paced environment rewards collaboration, inclusivity and a passion for responsible AI.
