Material Handler

Proclinical, a specialist recruiter in the life‑sciences sector, is looking for a Materials Handler to support its pharmaceutical operations within a cGMP setting. The position focuses on managing material flow, handling warehouse tasks and performing weigh‑and‑dispense activities while adhering to safety and documentation standards. Day‑to‑day duties involve carrying out weigh‑and‑dispense manufacturing steps, executing Kanban kitting and glucose refills, and checking processes against recipes and production paperwork. The role also requires receiving GMP‑approved supplies via the Warehouse Management System, performing weight and dispensing work using Syncade MES and glass‑wash equipment, and operating powered industrial trucks safely. Maintaining tidy storage areas, completing required GXP training, assisting colleagues with their training, and handling the picking, packing and shipping of finished goods, samples and other items are part of the routine. Additional tasks include processing drug substances, performing cycle counts and any other assignments given by the supervisor. The essential qualifications are a high‑school diploma, a valid forklift licence and fluency in English. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with Oracle and Syncade systems and be familiar with cGMP regulations and warehouse‑management practices. Attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping are critical, and the role is scheduled for standard hours without shift work. A plus is knowledge of German or French, which can support communication across teams.
