Senior Project Developer

Voltiris creates solar technologies that let large agricultural greenhouses generate electricity while still delivering high crop yields. The firm, recently placed among Switzerland’s top four startups, is expanding its portfolio throughout Switzerland, France and the Netherlands. The Senior Project Developer will take full responsibility for behind‑the‑meter solar installations that combine photovoltaic panels with battery storage, guiding each venture from early concept to operational hand‑over. In this position you will steer PV‑BESS projects through every phase, from initial feasibility checks to final commissioning, with little oversight. You will deepen the company’s internal expertise on AC‑PV, battery systems and low‑ to medium‑voltage grid links, manage applications for grid connections, secure permits for storage units and liaise with utilities. Preparing cost‑based quotations, feeding technical data into financial models and orchestrating collaboration among clients, electricians, suppliers and partners are core tasks. You will also evaluate technical and economic viability, mentor colleagues on technical matters and establish repeatable development procedures as the business scales. The role demands a master‑level education in electrical engineering or comparable hands‑on experience, together with more than five years of renewable‑energy project delivery that includes PV or battery projects built to completion. Candidates must possess deep practical insight into construction methods and cost structures, as well as solid technical and financial comprehension of renewable schemes. Demonstrated ability to own complex, multi‑party initiatives from start to finish is essential. Fluency in English, German and Dutch is required; French knowledge is considered a plus.
