Staff AI Engineer

Visium blends strategic insight, cutting‑edge AI, and deep expertise in regulated sectors to create AI‑native systems that transform how enterprises operate. As a Staff AI Engineer you will join a firm that simultaneously advises, builds, and products, aiming to deliver AI solutions that scale and generate lasting value rather than isolated pilots. In this senior position you will own the most technically demanding projects, guiding them from concept through architecture to live deployment. Your day will involve setting technical direction for a team, ensuring robust and maintainable designs, and contributing high‑quality code to data pipelines, models, and deployment workflows. You will also work closely with clients to turn complex business problems into clear technical roadmaps, champion modern ML practices, and mentor engineers of varying seniority. The role requires six to eight years of experience in machine learning or data science, strong Python skills, and fluency with libraries such as Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch. You must be comfortable with deep‑learning techniques, clustering, regression and classification, and have a track record of building and launching LLM‑based applications, including retrieval‑augmented generation, prompt engineering and vector‑store integration. Proficiency in Unix/Linux, REST APIs, micro‑services, and cloud platforms like AzureML, AWS or GCP is essential, as is experience with data‑visualisation tools and AI platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake. English fluency is required; French is a plus, and relevant certifications add value. Visium offers an international, collaborative environment with a transparent culture, a yearly education allowance, and a sport budget to support wellbeing. The position promises influence over thousands of users and the chance to grow within a proven, fast‑moving company that values both technical excellence and strategic impact.
