The vacancy is for an Application Engineer focused on Python within the IT Trading team, supporting mission‑critical applications for Klanik's global clientele. In this position you will troubleshoot and resolve user‑reported incidents, while also extending the existing platform with new features that align with client requirements. Daily tasks involve writing and reviewing code, modelling solutions, and adhering to both technical standards and business constraints. You will also evaluate architectural options to reinforce system stability and scalability, ensuring the overall solution remains robust and future‑proof. The role demands solid competence in Python development and the Pandas data‑handling library, as well as a strong foundation in software engineering principles. Candidates must hold a university degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, and possess practical experience working on first‑ or second‑level support for applications that are essential to business operations. Proficiency with Linux environments, routine administration of both Linux and Windows systems, and the ability to craft SQL queries are also required. While not mandatory, familiarity with additional technologies such as Java, AWS cloud services, Bash scripting, full‑stack development, C#, Selenium, Outlook VBA, and advanced Excel/VBA will be viewed favorably.
