SENIOR TRUST OFFICER

The role of Senior Trust Officer is within a Swiss-based independent trustee company specialising in trust set-up and administration services. The company serves internationally oriented clients and entrepreneurial groups, managing a diverse portfolio of structures such as trusts, investment companies, and foundations. The main responsibilities include managing these structures, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and intermediaries, and working directly with end-clients and their advisors to ensure proper administration. The role also involves implementing fiduciary solutions, meeting financial and non-financial targets, and providing support to the Legal and Compliance Office. Additionally, the Senior Trust Officer may need to speak at events and stay updated with industry regulations and trends. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in trustee companies with international clientele, or in the private department of legal firms or wealth planning in banking institutions. Strong knowledge of trust instruments, relevant local laws, and excellent English language skills are must-haves. Knowledge of German is an advantage. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to handle conflicting demands under pressure. An outgoing personality and the ability to understand both clients' and the firm's needs are also essential. The candidate should be a team player, open-minded, and pragmatic. Membership in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP) is a plus.
