ASAP: Lead Data Analyst - Commercial Finance (m/w/d)

The role is for a Lead Data Analyst - Commercial Finance (m/w/d) at a well-established international company. The company is looking for someone to lead the creation of an automated EMEA omnichannel revenue dashboard. This is a 20-week contract starting in mid-October. The main tasks involve designing, building, and implementing the dashboard, consolidating and analyzing data from various commercial channels and markets, and developing scalable data models. The analyst will also create visualizations for senior stakeholders, translate business needs into actionable analytics, and drive automation to enhance reporting efficiency. Ensuring data quality and accuracy is crucial, as is collaborating with various teams including Finance, Commercial Analytics, and Data Engineering. The candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance. They need at least five years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial analytics. Strong SQL skills and experience with advanced analytical techniques are essential. The role requires expertise in building automated dashboards and executive reporting solutions, as well as designing semantic layers and scalable data models for BI platforms. Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Looker, and cloud data platforms like GCP and BigQuery, is highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial performance metrics and revenue analytics. Experience in the retail or consumer goods sector is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders are necessary. The role requires a self-starter who can deliver quickly in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a hybrid working model in Zurich, with 2-3 days onsite.
