Business Support Analyst - 8 month Fixed Term Contract

Barclays is seeking a Business Support Analyst on an eight‑month fixed‑term contract in Geneva. The role sits within the private banking division and backs Front Office, private banking executives and relationship managers by handling client reviews, assessing transactional profiles and supporting regulatory remediation work. The analyst ensures that private‑banking client files meet Swiss KYC, AML and broader risk‑compliance standards while working closely with Financial Crime, Operations and other support functions. On a daily basis the analyst will assist relationship managers in acquiring, onboarding, servicing and retaining clients, acting as a liaison for complex requests that involve banking transactions, investment products, credit facilities and digital solutions. Responsibilities include building strong internal and client relationships, managing service‑engagement plans, leading client‑service review visits and serving as the first point of contact for new‑account queries and intricate servicing issues. The position also requires strict adherence to legal, regulatory and internal policy frameworks, supporting risk‑related activities and driving continuous improvement in high‑volume review processes. The essential qualifications are centred on experience within a Swiss private‑bank or wealth‑management environment and fluency in both French and English. Candidates must have a solid background conducting periodic and annual client reviews, performing KYC/AML assessments and understanding client risk and regulatory expectations. Practical knowledge of the Avaloq platform, direct collaboration with bankers or relationship managers, and strong stakeholder‑management and coordination abilities are also required. Attention to detail and the capacity to handle large volumes of review work, together with experience in remediation or regulatory‑focused projects, are mandatory. Additional, desirable attributes include prior involvement in regulatory remediation or workload‑reduction programmes, familiarity with financial‑crime controls, and exposure to Boost or comparable client‑lifecycle systems. Project‑management experience in banking or wealth‑management settings, a good grasp of private‑banking products, client structures and transaction behaviours, as well as previous work in operations, client‑lifecycle management or KYC back‑office roles, are considered advantageous.
