IT Support Technician (Kiosk / Smart Hands / End User Support)

D‑ploy, an IT and engineering solutions provider with a presence across the EMEA region and the United States, is looking for an IT Support Technician to join its growing international team. The role focuses on delivering end‑user assistance, kiosk‑based walk‑in support, and “smart‑hands” services that help global IT groups maintain their infrastructure. On a typical day the technician will troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals, manage the service kiosk for on‑site users, and perform hands‑on tasks such as patching network cables, conducting physical inspections in server rooms and office IT areas, and executing basic remote‑guided fixes. Responsibilities also include first‑ and second‑line incident handling, processing service requests, replacing and configuring hardware, and overseeing the full device lifecycle—from installation and moves to disposal—while following GxP and other regulated procedures. Work is performed on a rotating schedule alongside other internal staff. The position requires prior experience in IT support, service‑desk or field environments, solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365, basic networking concepts and hardware diagnostics, and familiarity with ticketing platforms like ServiceNow. Strong communication skills with end users, a flexible team‑oriented attitude, and the ability to collaborate within multinational groups are essential, as is fluency in both English and French. Candidates must provide a recent criminal‑record extract. Benefits include a competitive salary, various vouchers, a referral program, office refreshments, professional development opportunities, and a friendly, international workplace that hosts company‑sponsored events.
