AI Engagement Manager (AIF)(m/f/d)

The AI Engagement Manager role is part of the AI Factory, a central unit within Allianz Technology. This unit develops and implements AI solutions across the Allianz Group, focusing on four key areas: Personal Productivity, AI-Native Ways of Working, Application Rebuild & Modernization, and AI Use Case Delivery. The AI Factory operates on a shared AI platform ecosystem that supports all solutions with runtime, governance, observability, and reusable building blocks. The AI Engagement Manager's main responsibilities include forming squads with Forward Deployed Engineers and local IT or global vertical teams for each Operating Entity (OE) engagement. They shape and execute OE demand, making AI Factory capabilities visible and matching reusable building blocks to the OE's pain points. The role involves steering multiple engagements simultaneously, transferring knowledge and lessons between them, and ensuring that each engagement starts smarter than the last. Additionally, the manager validates assumptions quickly, corrects the course as needed, and owns the build-to-run handover to the global service or local IT team. They also maintain the OE relationship post-go-live and prepare communications and decision papers for senior stakeholders. To qualify, candidates must have a degree in business, management, technology, or a related field, along with experience steering delivery or programmes in a larger organization. Proficiency in English is required, and experience in a global organization is preferred. Familiarity with AI and its applications is also necessary. The role involves working closely with the Head of IT or the respective global vertical from the start, ensuring a seamless integration of AI solutions into the OE's operations. Nice-to-have skills include experience in a global organization and familiarity with AI and its applications.
