The role of HVAC & Utilities Engineer DPS Growth Project 80-100% (m/f/d) is based in Stein, Switzerland. The position is part of the Drug Product Services (DPS) Business Unit, which operates in a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) environment. The main day-to-day responsibilities include participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), construction walkdowns, commissioning, and qualification to ensure a smooth handover of Black Utilities, Clean Utilities, and HVAC systems. After the handover, the engineer will ensure safe, cGMP-compliant operation and execution of maintenance activities. They will also maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date system documentation, support risk analyses, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for the new facility and assigned equipment. Additionally, the engineer will manage deviations and changes across the assigned system landscape and act as a subject matter expert (SME) during audits and inspections for all HVAC & Utilities topics. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a degree in engineering or a comparable technical education with a strong technical understanding. Proficiency in German is required, and English skills are preferred. Significant experience in equipment maintenance, ideally in a pharmaceutical GMP environment, is essential. Strong knowledge of SAP-PM and MS Office is also required. An analytical mindset with the ability to define and track KPIs is crucial. Familiarity with GMP compliance requirements is preferred.
