Data Office Project Manager Consultant

The Data Office Project Manager Consultant will lead transversal information‑system transformation programmes for a luxury‑industry client, ensuring that application‑portfolio rationalisation, technology choices and target‑architecture principles stay aligned with business priorities. On a daily basis the consultant will establish and run project governance structures, defining scope, RACI matrices, decision bodies, meeting rhythms, reporting formats and risk‑and‑issue registers. They will steer the application‑rationalisation workstream, assess the portfolio, spot redundant solutions, draft rationalisation options and coordinate de‑commissioning or convergence actions. The role also involves building integrated project plans that capture milestones, dependencies, critical paths, budgets and escalation points, and preparing concise materials for weekly project‑team updates and monthly steering‑committee reports. Workshops with business, IT, architecture, security, integration and data stakeholders will be organised, documented and turned into actionable plans, while business‑analysis activities translate needs into deliverables, decision files, road‑maps and implementation follow‑up. Finally, the consultant will support change‑management by creating communication assets, operating documentation, hand‑over packages and training support, always promoting decisions based on business value, technical feasibility and risk assessment. The ideal candidate brings more than five years of proven experience leading transversal IT, Data‑Office or digital‑transformation projects in complex enterprises. They must demonstrate strong project‑management capabilities, the ability to structure governance, manage diverse stakeholders and communicate clearly at both operational and steering‑committee levels. A solid grasp of information‑system transformation, application‑portfolio rationalisation and technology alignment is essential, as is experience collaborating with enterprise architects, data teams, integration groups, security stakeholders and business‑application owners. Strong analytical and business‑analysis skills are required to turn complex requirements into clear, pragmatic implementation plans. Excellent written and spoken English and French are mandatory, as is a consulting mindset that is structured, autonomous, pragmatic and client‑oriented.
